Position Summary
| The Site Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of Abundant Mines’ hosting facilities. This role focuses on miner deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, inventory management, facility upkeep, and customer-facing site support. The Site Technician serves as the operational backbone of the site and helps ensure uptime, safety, and professionalism across all facility operations. |
Key Responsibilities
Miner Deployment & Installation
- Rack and deploy ASIC miners.
- Install networking and power connections.
- Commission new equipment.
- Verify operational status after deployment.
Miner Troubleshooting
- Diagnose offline miners.
- Replace fans, PSUs, control boards, and basic components.
- Escalate advanced repairs to ASIC Repair Technicians.
Facility Operations
- Monitor environmental conditions.
- Perform routine inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Support cooling and power infrastructure maintenance.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Receive deliveries.
- Organize inventory.
- Track equipment movement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
Site Monitoring
- Monitor Foreman dashboards.
- Investigate miner alerts.
- Escalate operational issues.
Customer & Visitor Support
- Support customer visits and site tours.
- Assist with miner inspections.
- Represent Abundant Mines professionally.
Infrastructure Projects
- Assist with container deployments.
- Support site expansions.
- Participate in miner migrations.
Documentation
- Maintain maintenance logs.
- Follow SOPs.
- Document operational issues and resolutions.
